ANTIC conducts security audits of electronic communications networks and information systems open to the public, particularly those of telecommunications operators, service providers, banking institutions as well as government agencies and departments. The said audits are aimed at providing technical support to these institutions, in a bid to ensure compliance of their information systems with applicable security standards as well as identifying and evaluating security risks and loopholes inherent in these systems. Recommendations formulated need to be implemented by the audited institutions to help patch security issues identified before they get exploited by malicious individuals to perpetrate cyber-attacks.
